Sweet Nothings...

You remember how in good-ol'-Orkut-days, we used to take “Profile” segment a bit too seriously? I bet you do! Yussss…. You guessed it right! That’s my source of inspiration for today’s post.. and here it goes!

Ten things I wish I could say to people right now:
  1. “Thank you for everything.”
  2. “I want you to be with me… forever. Please don’t go.”
  3. “You have been a jerk. You loser!” L-)
  4. “I couldn't care less!”
  5. “I am seriously in awwwwe of you.”
  6. “I am so glaaaaad I have somebody like you.”
  7. “I love you soooo much.”
  8. “You are the only person I would want to be, if I weren't ME.”
  9. “Can I get a hug?” >:D<
  10. “You add spice to my life. Our lives.”
Nine things about myself:
  1. Respect is paramount! Love is close second.
  2. I absolutely adore my family and my friends and my family friends. :)
  3. I am not myself when I’m angry.
  4. I can handle BIG problems, it’s the SMALL things that hurt me most
  5. I do believe in miracles. Big time!
  6. I’m a cleanliness freak!
  7. I’d never do something I don’t want to do.
  8. Injustice, of any kind, is something I just can’t tolerate.
  9. I can be blunt if need be. So much you may need iodine for your wounds. Nevertheless, I’m usually a pretty welcoming person.
Eight ways to win my heart:
  1. Never lie to me. I have in-built lie detectors.
  2. Be genuine. I also have genuity-detectors.
  3. Trust me. I am worth it.
  4. Be honest.
  5. Respect yourself, me and our relationship (whatever that be)
  6. Cook me good food. You totally got me there! :x
  7. Be yourself
  8. Give me my space.
Seven thoughts that often cross my mind:
  1. Do I ever cross your mind?
  2. When will Anu, Bina and others get married?  I hope you get your prince charming soon.
  3. Will I be able to attend their wedding? (They better plan it the way I can attend!  Is anybody listening?!?!)
  4. What will I wear at their wedding?
  5. What should I cook today?
  6. What time should I gym today? Or Should I leave it for tomorrow?
  7. Business or Job?
Six Serious Turn Offs:
  1. Liars :^o
  2. Wanna-bes
  3. Hypocrites
  4. Insensitivity
  5. Lack of humour
  6. Disrespect
Five Amazing Turn Ons:
  1. Humility
  2. Wittiness
  3. Confidence :D
  4. Honesty
  5. Chivalry (Who said its a thing of past? No ways!)
Four things somebody told me I can never forget:
  1. “You've a loooooong way to go. Never lose sight of you goal – irrespective of circumstances”
  2. “Few things at work demand accuracy; for some others sub-standardization is fine. Key is in identifying where to pull the strings and where to let go.”
  3. “I know you are a bitch, so am I! Tabhi to itni banti hai hamari” =))
  4. “Close the loop –always”
Three things I wish I wouldn't have done:
  1. Let certain people/ things affect me enough to change my life forever.
  2. Lose my temper especially on people I know really care for me.
  3. Been a bitch to Ricky by confirming a movie date one IIT evening, only to ditch her later! (I'm really sorry sweetheart!)
Two things I wish I would have done:
  1. Bunked some (more) of our morning classes for techo-wali-tapri-chaai with Hiral. Wherever you are, I hope you are reading this some way!
  2. Visited Switzerland when in Europe. Sometime soon. (Is a certain Mr. G listening?)
One wish I desperately want to fulfill:
  1. Earn enough to send mom and dadi to a world tour. PS: Pooja, You better finance yours! OK :p
So these are my “things” - a mixed bag of my facts-wishes-desires. What about you?
Feel free to drop in a line or two.
Ciao

Hi Junta I know I have been blog-dying oh so often lately but if you’re a close friend, you’d know why. If you’re wondering what  I've  been up to lately (if you’re not, why are you still reading my post! :|) let me tell you  I've been  doing great – travelling , meeting people, getting perspectives, brainstorming, and challenging myself in ways difficult for me to handle! Yeah, I’m a bit strange that way ;) So, currently: Am back from US trip, which by the way, was amazing. That’s where “meeting people” and a bit of “getting perspectives” part come into picture. Anyways, now back to Hong Kong and life’s getting pretty interesting. I had Dadi and Pooja at my place! We all had super fun! I discovered that G + Pooja is a bad combo. They act super crazy, senseless and  juvenile   infantile when  together! They got me to my wits end in Macau. ~X( My friend’s blessed with a bundle of joy – a sweet lil baby girl! A first in any of my group...

Welcome to United States of America

Welcome to United States of America" - That’s exactly how our Flight Captain welcomed us to this country. And I was sooooo delighted ! More than USA, it was the idea of finally getting off the 18th century American Airlines plane with grumpy staff  :-&  that caused the delight! It’s been 3 days since then and my first blog from the land of dreams! Its 5:00 am here and my body’s on starvation mode. That’s something I can’t stand. I guess I've had some 10 hrs of sleep in past 72 hours and that's it! Imagine, you've a severe headache, your back hurts unbearably. Your eyes are droopy due to sleep deprivation and they just don’t stop watering. You’ve a RED runny nose. Your face looks pale. You haven’t showered in 24 hours now and are burying yourself under layers of sweat shirts and comforters. That’s how my jet-lag has affected me. G and Ankur have been guiltlessly taking me out for a ride – LITERALLY! All the way from New York to Connecticut to New Jersey t...
